Our spring presentation will feature songs of the Civil War period. The program will include spirituals, Confederate songs, Union songs, soldier songs, and songs that eventually healed and united the nation. The program will also include “narrations”, readings of letters from a number of Hartford’s Civil War soldiers. Concert dates and times are Saturday, May 6, 2023 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Parish, 7:30pm and Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Schauer Art’s and Activities Center, 2:00pm.
